Balance. Balance is key to getting through the Christmas holidays, without coming out the other side feeling sluggish, unconfident and guilt riddled. Ain’t nobody got time for those feelings when we are slaying our way into 2018!
Yes – we will no doubt over indulge on occasions over the coming weeks. But, it doesn’t all have to be like that. Make a change this year – swap some of the beige food on your plates for some greens for example. Go out for a walk in the crisp winter outdoors. I promise it will make you feel better. I went for a jog on the beach yesterday, and it was so peaceful. To breathe in the fresh air, get outdoors and feel GOOD about myself made the rest of my day amazing. My mindset totally changed.
Sometimes I have to remind myself that I live in such a beautiful city.
Staying active will make all the difference.
Enjoy it, don’t be hard on yourself, but take the time to find your own balance.
